Take one pair of estranged twins (both called Antipholous) and one pair of twin servants (both called Dromio), keep them in ignorance of each other and throw them into a city with a reputation for sorcery and you have the chief ingredients for theatrical chaos. Fast-paced, hilarious and seemingly irreverent, the young William Shakespeare explores themes in this comedy that recur again and again in his later work: mistaken identity, coincidence and the importance of family.
Performed on an Elizabethan-inspired stage, a small troupe of travelling players breathe new life into this delightfully anarchic play. Fast, furious and extremely funny, eight talented actors reinvent Renaissance touring theatre for the 21st century with Shakespeare’s greatest farce.

I think that all the actors were fantastic, one young lady took my eyes away it was a brilliant debut on the stage, congratulations. Dana i think , I hope you remember the leather jacket guy, the magic went on. To conclude, to speak with Mr. Shakespeare and that was very marvelous and loads of fun.

This is a beautifully well done show and I highly recommend it to all!
Great fun, great play.
Great fun, great play. Hilarious and hectic cast, kids of all ages laughing throughout.
Thanks for a wonderful evening last night in Cambridge.
Recommended to all!

What better way to spend a drizzly evening in Oxford? All the cast were perfect, though special mention must go to Miltos Yerolemou who, above and beyond the call of thespian duty, acquired a genuine bruise to add to the countless virtual ones delivered by the Antipholi.
It would be remiss of me not to also make reference to the gorgeous Dana Gartland: can this really be her first professional role? I'm quite certain we'll be seeing a lot more of her.
Thanks to all involved for a wonderful production.

In June I saw The Comedy of Errors in the (little !) Globe Theatre in Neuss, Germany.
That was really a wonderful performance.Thank you for the brilliant actors . I hope to see the Globe Touring Company again next year in Neuss.
Greetings from Annette.
Thank you so much for this
Thank you so much for this afternoon's performance in Heaton Park, the hilarious heat of the performance was matched by the warmth of the day. A lovely introduction to Shakespeare's funny bone for our sceptical teenage companions!

We thoroughly enjoyed the Globe Theatre Company's performance of The Comedy of Errors this evening in Heaton Park. They even chased the clouds away from Manchester - and that takes some doing! The cast were obviously enjoying themselves - as did the whole audience from 5 to 85. This was a first class performance of a first class oeuvre. If the company are performing near you - don't miss it.
Greetings from Oslo. A week
Greetings from Oslo. A week ago, I saw the astonishing play of 'Comedy of Errors', up here in Akershus festning, it was brilliant. The actors were on the spot, the ideas on the stage were the highest standard and last but not least it was brilliant weather, which was well deserved. The spirit of William at its best. Congratulation to the marvelious performance.
Unless all the actors were fantastic, one young lady took me away. Dana, it was a brilliant debut on the stage, congratulations. As we spoke, I hope you remember the leather jacket guy, the magic went on. To conclude, to speak with Mr. Shakespeare himself:
'Oh speak again bright angel'.
All the best for the rest of the tour, maybe we see each other here in Oslo again 2010.

Thank you for the excellent
Thank you for the excellent production of The Comedy of Errors, this evening, at Trafalgar Park. We had a wonderful evening and my only wish is that I had stood up at the end and perhaps encouraged others in the audience to do the same...it was certainly deserved. How they managed to keep track of their switching roles and maintain the pace of humour I don't know. They all carried it off brilliantly but especially Ronan Raftery and Miltos Yerolemou as Antipholus and Dromio, respectively. We also loved the way Shakespeare's humour sounded completely up to date (and was visited on the audience).
I have been wanting to come to see The Globe and a production there ever since it opened but have not been in a position to do so. Thank you SO much for bringing The Globe on Tour to us, we thoroughly enjoyed 'joining in the fun'!

I felt I had to thank you
I felt I had to thank you most heartfeltly for your performance of
A Comedy of Errors in Bury St Edmunds' Theatre Royal yesterday afternoon.
I'm not expert at all on Shakespeare; indeed, I've rarely been to the theatre,
but I love attending our local Theatre Royal for their professional classical music
productions (Handel operas etc) and thought I would take the plunge and attend your
theatrical production.
I was bowled over from the very first moment the players entered the stage.
Enunciation was brilliant, and even though the plot was utterly absurd, I was carried
along the whole narrative journey by the sheer credibility of the acting, the singing, the instrumental playing
(despite the presence of the ghastly accordion!), and the expert staging.
I had hope to have taken the morning off work and done some homework before
attending your performance but, typically, that didn't happen (I hate my boss!)
and I arrived at the theatre at very last minute, all hot and flustered and fed up.
Yet I needn't have worried as your production made everything totally comprehensible:
the little touches of the two differently-coloured pairs of balloons at the beginning was lovely.
It would be invidious to mention certain people, as it seemed to me that it was the
unity of ensemble as a whole that struck me as the backbone to your production.
I felt very honoured that you should come to this little provincial theatre and so allow me to experience
such a truly unforgettable event. Thank you so much. I shall come again to anything you do
on tour in our area (there being dragons and wizards in London, your Globe Theatre is beyond my league!).
Yours most appreciatively,

I would like to say that the performance of The Comedy of Errors last week - Tues 26th - was fantastic. I took my 14 year old daughter and two of her school friends and we all had a fabulous evening (out loud laughs from us all and "the best play I have ever seen .." quotes on the way home!).
Absolutely marvellous.
