Peter Shorey [Duchess of York] in the Globe's 2003 Richard II

Peter Shorey

This is Peter's second season at Shakespeare's Globe. Last year, he played Valentine in Twelfth Night. Other roles include Ross in Macbeth, Clarence in Richard III, and Snug in A Midsummer Night's Dream. He has performed at the Theatre Royal, York, the Salisbury Playhouse, Birmingham Repertory Theatre. For the past eight years, he has written pantomimes (in which he also plays the Dame) in theatres across the country.

Television work includes The Bill and Minder.
