This is Yolanda's fourth season at Shakespeare's Globe. Last year she was a member of the Globe's first all-female company and played parts in both The Taming of the Shrew and Richard III. In 1999, she played Adriana in The Comedy of Errors and Bertha in Augustine's Oak, and in 2000 she played Hippolyta in The Two Noble Kinsmen. Other roles include Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, and Titania in the Royal Shakespeare Company's 2002 production of A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Her television credits include Midsomer Murders, Peak Practice and A Touch of Frost. Films include Notting Hill, The Other Boleyn Girl and Morvern Callar.
